Ryan Snow has a diverse work experience, primarily focused on sustainability and green building. Ryan is currently serving as the Regional Director for U.S. Market Transformation & Development at the U.S. Green Building Council, where they oversee the day-to-day operations of a regional team's work plan and develops programming to advance community sustainability. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles within the organization, including Director of U.S. Market Transformation & Development and Director of Community Advancement.
Before joining the U.S. Green Building Council, Ryan worked as a Sustainability Consultant at Navigating Green and as an Adjunct Faculty at Chatham University. Ryan also gained experience at the Green Building Alliance, where they served as Director of Education & Special Projects and as a Research Coordinator & Resource Center Manager. Additionally, Ryan worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Macoskey Center for Sustainable Systems and as an Intern & "Go Green" Student Coordinator at Michigan Energy Options. Throughout their career, Ryan has developed and instructed workshops, created online learning programs, and demonstrated a commitment to promoting sustainability and green practices.
Ryan Snow has a Bachelor of Science degree in Science & Technology Studies from Michigan State University. Ryan also holds a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Systems with a focus on the sustainable built environment and green building from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Ryan has additional certification as a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) in Building Design + Construction from the Green Building Certification Institute. Ryan has also pursued studies in Real Estate at Drexel University.
