Anthony Barnes

Anthony Barnes currently serves as the Deputy District Director and Military and Veterans Affairs Manager for Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton in the U.S. House of Representatives, a position held since December 2016, where responsibilities include reviewing and researching legislative policies and analyzing their impact on constituents. Prior experience includes serving as a Prevention Specialist with the AIC Drug and Alcohol Commission, where drug, alcohol, and gambling prevention programs were developed and implemented, and as a Certified Peer Support Specialist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, assisting Veterans on their recovery journeys. Additional roles include golf operations at Pikewood National Golf Club and service in the U.S. Navy as a Master at Arms. Anthony holds a degree from West Virginia University, completed in 2014.
