Lucas Erbland

Lucas Erbland currently serves as a Staff Assistant and Legislative Correspondent for the U.S. House of Representatives since January 2023. Prior experience includes an internship at CADC and a position as a College Hiring Associate. At the Chittenden County Public Defender's Office, Lucas worked as an Investigative Intern, assisting attorneys in evidence analysis and client communication. Earlier roles included a Line Cook and Dairy Bar Operator at Sodexo, an Intern and Field Organizer for Samra Brouk's NYS Senate campaign, and a Maintenance Technician for Colchester Parks and Recreation, where responsibilities included general park maintenance and machinery operation. Lucas began a career in sports by refereeing intramural basketball and football at the University of Vermont, where a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government was earned from 2017 to 2020.
