Branch Chief, Usindopacom Policy And Posture at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command

Christina Sheets currently serves as the Branch Chief for USINDOPACOM Policy and Posture at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command since June 2023. Christina is a student of National Security Strategy at the National War College, ongoing until April 2024. Previously, Christina held the position of Commander of the 94th Intelligence Squadron at the National Security Agency from July 2020 to December 2022 and served as Aide-de-Camp to the Secretary of the Air Force from May 2018 to June 2020. Additional roles include Senior Intelligence Officer in the United States Air Force, Foreign Policy Fellow at the U.S. Department of State, and Instructor at the USAF Weapons School. Christina's educational background comprises a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Indiana University Bloomington, a Master's degree in Military Strategic Intelligence from American Military University, and a Master's degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College. Christina also completed the Women and Power Program at Harvard Business School Executive Education in April 2024.

United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) is one of six geographic combatant commands defined by the Department of Defense's Unified Command Plan (UCP). As a geographic combatant command, USINDOPACOM is in charge of using and integrating United States Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps forces within the USINDOPACOM area of responsibility (AOR) to achieve U.S. national security objectives while protecting national interests. The USINDOPACOM AOR covers more of the globe of any of the other geographic combatant commands and shares borders with all of the other five geographic combatant commands. The commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command reports to the President of the United States through the Secretary of Defense and is supported by multiple component and sub-unified commands including: U.S. Forces Korea, US Forces Japan, U.S. Special Operations Command Pacific, U.S. Pacific Fleet, U.S. Marine Forces Pacific, U.S. Pacific Air Forces and U.S. Army Pacific. These commands are headquartered in Hawai’i and have forces stationed and deployed throughout the region.
