Rachel Rizal, MD, is a prominent contributor and writer for U.S. News & World Report since 2020. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Cracking Med School Admissions, Rachel offers expertise in college and medical school admissions, co-authoring a guidance book for pre-medical students. Rachel's background includes serving as a TEDMED Research Scholar and an Emergency Medicine Physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. In previous roles at Stanford Health Care, Rachel focused on strategic projects and founded the SHARED initiative to enhance public health in the emergency department.
