Tamara Duker Freuman

Tamara Duker Freuman, MS RD, is a seasoned registered dietitian and nutrition manager at New York Gastroenterology Associates, LLP since March 2021, and also serves as President at Congregation Sons of Israel-Nyack since June 2023. Freuman has been a contributing writer for the Eat + Run blog of U.S. News & World Report since July 2012, focusing on topics related to digestive health and healthy living. Previously, Freuman worked as a clinical nutritionist at East River Gastroenterology & Nutrition, providing medical nutrition therapy underlined by expertise in digestive disorders. In addition, Freuman has experience as an instructor at Academy Medical Systems, delivering continuing education webinars on gastrointestinal disease and nutrition. Prior professional roles include leadership positions at Bath & Body Works, Limited Brands, and The Boston Consulting Group.
