Wes Adkins

Wes Adkins has extensive work experience in the logistics and railway industry. Wes is currently the Chief Executive Officer at U.S. Rail & Logistics since 2020. Previously, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Operations at CIG Logistics from July 2018 to December 2019, where they were responsible for establishing and maintaining the terminal network budgets and ensuring financial goals were met. Wes also served as Vice President, Strategy at CIG Logistics from October 2017 to July 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Halliburton as part of their North America Rail Logistics team from July 2015 to October 2017. Wes began their career at BNSF Railway in 2005 and held various roles including Corporate Management Trainee, Terminal Trainmaster, Division Trainmaster, Manager of Operations Service Excellence, Network Operations Center Terminal Manager, and Complex Terminal Manager. Throughout their tenure at BNSF Railway, they managed rail terminals and line segments, leading teams of up to 350 employees and overseeing operational budgets of $205 million.

Wes Adkins attended the University of Arkansas from 2000 to 2005 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Transportation and Logistics.
