Peter O'Connor

Peter O'Connor, CPCU, ARe, ARM, serves as the National Property Practice Leader and Property & Inland Marine Broker at U.S. Risk, LLC since November 2020. Prior to this role, Peter was an Underwriter - Binding Authority at RT Specialty from November 2019 to November 2020 and held the position of Executive Underwriter at Crum & Forster from March 2017 to August 2019, focusing on middle market property and casualty lines. Peter also spent over seven years as a Senior Underwriter at Fairmont Specialty, concentrating on niche businesses within short-tail casualty programs, including agri-business and oil & gas. Peter holds a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown and has pursued further education at several institutions, including Villanova University and The Institutes (AICPCU).
