Byron Myers has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Byron started their career at Kerr-McGee Chemical, LLC in 1986, where they held various positions such as Process Engineer and Director of Business Planning. In these roles, they oversaw plant operations, implemented cost control strategies, and conducted economic analysis for capital investments.

After leaving Kerr-McGee Chemical, Myers worked at Chemical Lime Company as a Plant Manager, managing a Lime Plant and overseeing all aspects of its operations. Byron then moved on to ADA Carbon Solutions, where they served as a Plant Manager for an Activated Carbon Plant. Here, they were responsible for startup and commissioning, as well as safety, environmental, quality, and financial performance.

Myers also held roles at Siemens Energy as an Engineering and Operations Manager, Xerium Technologies, Inc. as a Plant Manager, Cabot Corporation as an Operations Manager, and U.S. Silica Company as a Site Operations Manager.

Throughout their career, Myers has demonstrated skills in plant management, capital project development, financial analysis, and process engineering. Byron Myers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University, where they studied from 1981 to 1986. Byron later pursued an MBA in Management from the same university and completed it from 1987 to 1989.
