John P. Blanchard

John P. Blanchard is the Senior Vice President and President of Performance Materials at U.S. Silica. John has over 25 years of experience in the chemical industry, starting their career as a Chemical/Production Engineer at Pfizer (formerly Pharmacia Corporation) in 1995. John quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a Project Manager in 1999 and then a Global Sourcing Leader in 2001. In 2003, they left Pfizer to join Owens Corning as their Market Development Manager. John was promoted to Global Business Manager of Specialty Nonwovens at Johns Manville in 2008, and then to Global Business Director of Filtration and Specialty Nonwovens in 2010. John assumed their current position at U.S. Silica in 2011.

John P. Blanchard has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MBA in Marketing and Corporate Strategy from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

They work with Derek Ussery - EVP & President, Oil & Gas, Deborah Dishong - VP & Chief Accounting Officer, and Alan Schultz - VP, Strategy. John P. Blanchard reports to Bryan Shinn, CEO.
