Maria Adkison, MS, PhD, currently serves as the Regional Poultry Technical Specialist at the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) since March 2019. Prior to this role, Maria worked as a Visiting Scientist at the University of Arkansas from February 2016 to May 2018. Maria also completed a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 2013. Maria's academic credentials include a PhD and MS in Animal Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where studies were conducted from March 2006 to March 2012, and a BS in Animal Science from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, obtained between February 1996 and February 2001.
