Missile Warning Crew Chief at U.S. Space Command

Israel Malik Young has extensive experience in space systems and missile warning operations. Currently serving as a Space Systems Operator for the United States Space Force since September 2020 and as a Missile Warning Crew Chief for U.S. Space Command since August 2020, Israel Malik Young leads a joint/combined crew at the CFSCC/Missile Warning Center, overseeing the coordination and execution of global missile and space re-entry event detection. Previously, from October 2015 to August 2020, Israel Malik Young operated national Protected Military Satellite Communications systems as an EHF Satellite Payload Operator with the United States Air Force, providing critical secure communications for warfighters during peacetime and conflict.
