Matthew Schwab

Matthew Schwab is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Country Manager for Mexico & Central America and Southern Africa at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) since February 2024. Previously, Matthew held the position of Director in Infrastructure and Climate Advisory at KPMG from July 2018 to February 2024, where involvement included roles on the Global Infrastructure Strategy Board and expertise in public-private partnerships, renewable energy sourcing, and project finance. Earlier career experiences encompass roles at organizations such as Alvarez & Marsal, The Scowcroft Group, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, and others, contributing to a robust background in international relations and finance. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service and an MBA from Georgetown University, along with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
