Abbas R. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Abbas started their career as a Project Intern at Voltas Limited, where they led a team in enhancing an internal helpdesk tool. Abbas then worked as a Software Engineer and Project Trainee at Patni Computer Systems. At iGATE, they served as a Software Analyst. Abbas R. joined the University of Texas at Dallas as a Research Assistant, where they collaborated with faculty and staff to automate manual processes and designed a system for publishing research papers. Abbas also worked as a Web Analyst, focusing on tracking publication rankings across business schools in the USA. Currently, Abbas R. works as a Principal Product & Cloud Analytics Manager at Utegration, Inc.

Abbas R. obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Abbas then pursued further education at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas from 2012 to 2014, specializing in Information Technology and Management with a focus on Business Intelligence, Analyst, IT Consulting, and Project Management. Additionally, they obtained a SAS Certificate in Business Intelligence and Data Mining from the SAS Institute in 2013.
