UACJ Corporation, formerly Furukawa-Sky Aluminum Corp., is principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of aluminum rolled products. The Company operates in two business segments. The Rolling segment manufactures and sells the rolled sheet products, foil products, extruded products, casting products and forged products. The Processed Product segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of other aluminum metal products. On October 1, 2013, the Company merge with Sumitomo Light Metal Industries, Ltd. through a stock swap. On October 1, 2013, Furukawa Electric Co Ltd was no longer the parent company of the Company. On October 1, 2013, UACJ AUSTRALIA PTY. LTD., Tri-Arrows Aluminum Holding Inc. and Tri-Arrows Aluminum Inc. became its subsidiaries. On July 1, 2014, it established a Japan-based subsidiary, and transferred product processing business to the new subsidiary.
