Robin Lasters is currently serving as the PFAS remediation coordinator at Natuurpunt since August 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a PhD researcher at Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek - Vlaanderen (FWO) from November 2019 to October 2023, focusing on the accumulation of poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in private gardens and the associated human exposure risks. Previously, Robin conducted research at Universiteit Antwerpen from March 2018 to October 2019, investigating PFAS accumulation in the human food chain and its health risks, and contributed as a scientific assistant to the development of extraction techniques for PFAS analysis. Robin's earlier employment as a job student at AGO Jobs & HR involved various roles in warehousing and retail from 2010 to 2017. Robin holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Evolutionary and Behaviour Biology, both from Universiteit Antwerpen.
