Barbara Howard, CAP has had a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Barbara started their career as an International Travel Agent at Rosenbluth Travel in 1992. In 1994, they joined Siemens PLM Software as an Executive Assistant/Office Manager, and later transitioned to the role of Executive Assistance/Office Manager at Siemens PLM Software (formerly UGS Corp.) in 2007.

In 2010, Barbara worked at Trinity Health System as a Planning Assistant, providing support to the Vice President and Director of Strategic Planning. Barbara was responsible for planning educational workshops for ER employees and maintaining schedules and asset databases.

From 2011 to 2013, Barbara served as the Executive Assistant in the Office of Andra M. Rush, CEO at Rush Trucking Corporation & Dakkota Integrated Systems, LLC. Barbara then joined AVL Powertrain Engineering in 2014 as a Project Coordinator/Executive Assistant before moving on to their next position.

Since 2015, Barbara has been working at the UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust in various roles. Barbara started as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Director and Board Coordinator and then transitioned to the role of Manager, Finance Initiatives and Board Coordinator.

In addition to their corporate experience, Barbara has also been commissioned as a Notary Public by the State of Michigan since 1992.

Barbara Howard, CAP completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology at Iowa State University from an unknown start year to 1986. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Management/Human Resources Management at the University of Phoenix, completing it in 2006.
