George Pate

George Pate has extensive experience in compliance roles, particularly in OFAC and AML regulations. Currently serving as an OFAC Compliance Officer at UBA America since January 2021, George is responsible for reviewing cases generated by the Transaction Monitoring System and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. Previously, George held the same title at Habib Bank Limited and served as an AML/Sanctions Filter Specialist at Standard Chartered Bank, where duties included analyzing wire transfers and recommending corrective measures for compliance standards. George's career began as an Operations Analyst at Wachovia Bank NA, which provided foundational knowledge in OFAC sanctions and payment processing. George holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communication and Media Studies from Morgan State University.
