Sylvia Sedo

Sylvia Sedo currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer at UBA Ghana Ltd since July 2022. Prior to this role, Sylvia worked at MTN Ghana from August 2014 to June 2022 as an Information Security Analyst, focusing on Information Security Controls in areas such as Vulnerability and Compliance Management, Incident Management, Network Security, Security Awareness Training, and Risk Management, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the Digital Transformation agenda. Earlier experience includes serving as a System Administrator / Support Engineer and Web Developer at ExplainerDC from August 2011 to July 2014, where Sylvia managed IT infrastructure and provided technical support. Sylvia holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from Mount Carmel College, earned from 2007 to 2010.
