Tim Mercier

Tim Mercier is an accomplished data engineering professional with extensive experience in data management and business intelligence across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Data Warehouse Engineering at UBC since June 2024, Tim previously held the position of Director of Data Engineering at Vision Data Solutions, where significant advances in data enrichment and a successful Product Information Management project were achieved. At Amsive, Tim improved targeted marketing strategies through machine learning algorithms and led a major overhaul of the Customer Data Platform, drastically reducing processing times. Other roles include Technology Manager and Enterprise Data Architect at True Value Company, Senior Manager for Data Warehousing at Adtalem Global Education, and Manager/Enterprise Data Architect at Grant Thornton, where a master data management strategy was developed. Tim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University.
