Danny Neill has over 10 years of experience in industrial design and product design. In 2009, they began their career as an Entry Experience at Auckland Zoo, where they gained experience in customer service. In 2014, they took a 12 month placement at Logitech in Cork, Ireland, as a Junior Product Designer, where they were responsible for mocking up designs and testing ideas. In 2016, they became an Industrial Designer at Idea Developments Ltd, where they were a consultant with responsibility for planning and project management. In 2018, they joined Locus Research as an Industrial Designer. In 2020, they joined UBCO - Utility Electric Vehicles as a Design Director and Senior Industrial Designer. During this time, they were responsible for design research, engineering release drawings, and quality control.

Danny Neill obtained a National Certificate in Design and Visual Arts from Unitec in 2011, followed by a Bachelor of Design and Visual Arts from Unitec in 2015. In 2013, Danny Neill attended the University of Limerick and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Science and Engineering. In 2010, Danny Neill obtained a Diploma in Professional SCUBA Instruction from Dive HQ - West, and obtained a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification from PADI in September of that year.
