Rachel Lee is an experienced applied scientist currently working at Uber since June 2022, previously holding the position of data scientist intern with the Eats Courier Real-Time Pricing team at Uber during the summer of 2021. Prior to joining Uber, Rachel served as an economist intern with the Supply Chain Optimization Technology team at Amazon in the summer of 2020. Rachel also has a strong research background from the University of Southern California, where work included a research assistant role on an applied econometrics project and teaching assistantships that developed communication skills while assisting undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, Rachel interned at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, contributing to a consumer research project. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Economics and an MA from the University of Southern California, along with a dual degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Florida.
