Saeed Contractor

Saeed Contractor is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in automation and software development. Currently serving as a Council Member for VOCAL since July 2020, Saeed contributes to a global community focused on automation technologies. As the Global Head of the Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence at Uber since January 2019, Saeed oversees the strategic implementation of intelligent automation initiatives. Previously, as Vice President of Applications Development at Citi from March 2011 to December 2018, Saeed led teams in delivering strategic technology solutions, including a production rollout of RPA in 2017. Saeed has held significant roles at Aspect Software, Concerto Software, Cellit Technologies, and VX Corporation, leading teams in various developmental and operational capacities. Saeed holds a Master’s degree in Computational Fluid Dynamics from Princeton University, an MBA from the University of Central Florida, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bombay.
