Viswanath Tata has extensive experience in engineering and technical program management, currently serving as the Lead of Engineering Scaled Solutions at Uber since February 2020, where efforts focus on building unified platforms for operational scaling. Previously, Tata held roles as a Senior Technical Program Manager at Uber and Amazon, contributing to scalable solutions and launching key international features. As the founder of Vagtail, Tata developed a profitable model emphasizing user-friendly shopping experiences. Earlier positions include senior product management and engineering roles at Microsoft, Kony Labs, and other tech companies, where Tata specialized in product development, disaster recovery, and software engineering for a variety of applications. Educational credentials include an EPBM from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University, and a BE in Electrical and Electronics from Andhra University.
