CTO at Ubex AI

Dan Gartman began their career as a System Administrator and Data Science Engineer in 2010 when they were self-employed. Dan then worked at Dew Point from 2014 to 2016 as the Head of IT, where they managed 12 Software Engineers and Content Managers. Dan also worked on a neural network model for speech recognition to reduce the false rate of client's calls (Python, R, Torch, Theano), designed and implemented a mobile version of the project website (Javascript, Angular), and set up a VOIP server used by all clients and integrated it into the call project (Asterisk, PostgreSQL). In 2016, Dan Gartman worked at Amazon AI (ML Team for Polly) as a Sr. Data Scientist. Finally, from 2017 to present, Dan Gartman has been the CTO at Ubex AI. During this time, they have performed Artificial Network Classification for Bank Marketing Data used as a basis for ADAM (Advanced Distributed Advertising Marketing) (GoLang, TensorFlow), moved core system logic to Blockchain (Solidity, Javascript, GoLang), developed a pushing service used to collect all client's actions data (GoLang, Amazon SQS, Javascript), implemented a GO API application to access blockchain via simple REST (GoLang, Solidity), designed and implemented a neural network ad classifier (GoLang, TensorFlow, Javascript), implemented a decentralised auction application based on Ethereum Blockchain network (Javascript, Solidity, React), designed and implemented a single sign-on service used as a central place for authorisation to all company projects (GoLang, React, Redux), implemented integration with Ethereum Wallet which gives clients the opportunity to buy assets in Ether (Blockchain, Solidity, GoLang), designed and implemented an event-based system of actions undertaken by clients which leads to better inter departments communication and increased the quality of service (React, GoLang), and set up a testing environment for an affiliate project (React, Mocha, Karma).

Dan Gartman obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol between 2003 and 2009.
