John Hogan has extensive work experience in various leadership and managerial roles within the telecommunications industry. John started their career as a Software Engineer at the National Security Agency in 1980 and later worked as a Business Development Manager at Harris Information Systems Division from 1988 to 1998. John then served as the Vice President of Ship Board Engineering & General Manager at Globe Wireless from 1998 to 2001.
In 2001, Hogan worked as a Program Manager at Tantivy Communications, where they managed domestic and international field trials of wireless broadband technology. From 2002 to 2006, they co-founded and served as the Vice President of Operations at HotAir Network Group, where they delivered specialized Wi-Fi technology solutions.
Hogan joined Harris IT Services in 2006 as a Program Manager for the Sezmi Project and later became the Product Manager for DataFi and Helium. John was responsible for managing the software development team, offshore software development, marketing of the product, and executing the business plan.
From 2011 to 2013, Hogan worked as the Director of Global Field Services & Technical Training at Harris CapRock Communications, where they developed and implemented a global field service strategy. John also managed field service teams, shipping and receiving of equipment, and travel planning for deployment teams.
In 2013, Hogan transitioned to SpeedCast (formerly Harris CapRock Communications) as the Senior Program Manager, overseeing the Carnival program and leading meetings with the Carnival GIS team. John served as the Director of Global Field Services and Technical Training and managed the field services activity for the Carnival Cruise Lines deployment.
Finally, Hogan joined Ubicquia LLC in 2018 as the Director of Field Operations. John was responsible for forming the Field Operations department and developing processes for product installation, testing, and maintenance. The Field Operations team provided support to customers worldwide.
John Hogan earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from Clemson University from 1976 to 1980. John then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at The Johns Hopkins University from 1981 to 1983.
