Yu Ishikawa

Yu Ishikawa has worked in the tech industry since 2010. In 2010, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Data Scientist at mixi, Inc. where they analyzed a social networking service and built a scalable data pipeline system with Apache Hadoop and Apache Hive. In 2013, they were a Senior Software Engineer at CyberAgent and a Senior Software Engineer (Machine Learning) at Recruit Group, where they contributed to the large scale machine learning library of Apache Spark and was the main organizer of a meetup to learn machine learning with Apache Spark in Tokyo. In 2014, they were the Organizer and presenter of Machine Learning with Spark Tokyo. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Mercari, Inc. and a Senior Privacy Engineer and Senior Data Engineer at Ubie.

Yu Ishikawa obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Tokyo between 2006 and 2008.
