Jessica Gurchiek

Dr. Jessica Gurchiek is a Senior Scientist at UbiQD. She obtained her B.S. in Chemistry at Middle Tennessee State University following an enlistment as an Engineering Laboratory Technician in the US Navy serving on board the USS Ronald Reagan. She earned her Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Michigan State University, under Professor Warren Beck, studying the photophysics of carotenoids, specifically in the Orange Carotenoid Protein, using fluorescence anisotropy and 2DES ultrafast spectroscopy.
