Rafael Olivares

Rafael Olivares has extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Rafael'smost recent position was as Head of Sales & Partnerships for the Americas at UBiqube, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Atos as the VP Sales - Head of Telecom, Media & Technology for Latin America from February 2021 to April 2023. Before that, in 2020, they served as a Co-Founder at Kommbo Mobile, and from 2016 to 2019, they were the CEO of Latin America at Mahindra Comviva.

Rafael also has a long history with Ericsson, where they held various positions including Vice President Sales & Business Development - CU AT&T Latam from July 2015 to October 2016, Key Account Manager for Millicom Latam & Major Accounts México from February 2012 to June 2015, Head of Mobile Network Industrialization from February 2010 to January 2012, Managing Principal from February 2008 to January 2010, and Principal, Business Advisor from June 1999 to February 2008.

Before joining Ericsson, Rafael worked as a Senior Consultant at T&C Company from 1993 to 1999. Prior to that, they held the role of Product Manager at AGF Seguros from December 1990 to May 1993. Rafael began their career at Chase as a Private Banking professional from October 1988 to November 1990 and started their professional journey at Banco Santander as a Foreign Investments Settler from June 1986 to September 1988.

Rafael Olivares has a diverse education history. In 1985, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Sciences and Sociology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In 1990, they enrolled in Esden Business School and completed an International MBA with a focus on Business Administration and Management. From 1995 to 1997, they pursued a Ph.D. at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, specializing in Political Sciences and Sociology. In 2014, they received training in the SPIN sales and consulting methodology from Huthwaite International. Finally, in 2015 and 2016, they attended the London Business School for an Executive Program in Key Account Management.
