Maksims Puskels

Maksims Puskels has a strong background in iOS development with experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Maksims started their career in 2013 at C.T.Co as a trainee software developer, primarily focused on maintaining a universal iOS application for CRM projects. In 2016, they moved to Citadele banka, where they rewrote an existing mobile application initially developed on Cordova. Maksims faced daily challenges of building functionality on the backend and implementing new features in the app, while also maintaining application architecture and meeting high security requirements. In 2017, Maksims joined Chili Labs as an iOS developer, working as part of a team of five developers in a mobile app development studio. There, they successfully released numerous apps developed with Swift and RxSwift, covering the full spectrum of the development process. In 2020, Maksims took on a role as a Mobile Team Lead (iOS/Android) at Dzing Finance, leading a team of outsource developers and managing the setup and maintenance of a pipeline for automated CI/CD. Currently, Maksims is an iOS developer at Ubiquiti Inc, where they started in 2020.

Maksims Puskels earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Computer Science from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) between 2005 and 2008. In addition, Maksims also obtained certification as a Scala Bootcamp graduate from Evolution in January 2022 and as a Go: The Complete Developer's Guide (Golang) from Udemy in November 2019.
