Ryan Song

Ryan Song serves as the Assistant General Counsel for Product and Commercial at Ubiquiti Inc. since March 2016, providing legal counsel to the executive team on manufacturing and supply chain operations, as well as leading product counsel for the R&D team on product development matters. Prior to this role, Ryan was at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP from September 2012 to March 2016 as an Associate in M&A, advising private equity funds and public companies on mergers and acquisitions. Earlier experience includes positions as a Summer Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP, a Law Clerk at Federal Defenders of NYC Inc., and internships as a Hardware Design Engineer Intern at STMicroelectronics and a Software Developer Intern at Evolution Robotics. Ryan holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Columbia Law School and a B.A.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
