Lead Firmware Engineer at Ubiquiti

Tung Chang Wu has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Tung Chang started their career in 2010 as a Second Lieutenant in the R.O.C Army, serving for a year. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at Dynacolor, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they integrated 3rd party APIs into Linux embedded cameras and provided technical support to project sites. Tung Chang then moved up to the role of Software Project Leader, where they developed intelligent industrial cameras and systems.

In 2016, Tung joined NUWA Robotics (HK) Limited as a Firmware Engineer. Tung Chang developed AI motor firmware systems for robotic body control and supported different stages of production. Tung Chang improved firmware architecture, designed algorithms, and integrated SDKs.

Since 2018, Tung has been working at Ubiquiti Networks as a Lead Firmware Engineer. Tung Chang'sresponsibilities include leading and managing MCU-based bring-up tasks and implementing firmware for WiFi/BLE IoT devices and Power Distribution Units/Battery Management Systems.

Tung Chang Wu obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Bio-Industrial Mechatronics Engineering from National Taiwan University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Tung Chang continued their education at the same university and earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Bio-Industrial Mechatronics Engineering from 2008 to 2010.
