Head Of Marketing at Ubiqutek

Tom Archer has worked in the marketing and crop protection industry since 2001. Tom began their career at Chemtura Corporation as a Marketing Manager Seed Treatments EMEA and Scientist, Product Performance Group. In their role as Scientist, Product Performance Group, they were responsible for developing efficacy data packages for seed treatment and herbicide regulatory submissions in the EU. Tom then moved to Field Trials Scientist, where they were a team leader Scientist specialising in NPD and crop protection field trials. Tom also held the role of Field Trials Officer, which was a technical role specialising in seed treatment and herbicide field trials.

In 2015, Tom moved to Arysta LifeScience as the EMEA Marketing Manager Seed Treatments. In this role, they managed the seed treatment portfolio with daily interactions with business, technical and regulatory managers at regional and country level. Tom also had European Key Account Management responsibilities, listening to and understanding the customers' needs to ensure alignment with the companies' offer.

In 2019, Tom joined UPL as the EUROPE Marketing Manager Seed Treatments & Crop Establishment. In this role, they had Leadership of crop establishment and seed treatment category and portfolio family with daily interactions with business, technical and regulatory managers at regional and country level. Tom was also responsible for managing portfolio strategy to consistently deliver incremental growth in revenue and GP.

Tom is currently the Head Of Marketing at RootWave (Ubiqutek Ltd).

Tom Archer obtained a Higher National Diploma in Agriculture from Harper Adams University between 1997 and 2000. Tom then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) in Crop Protection from the same university in 2011. Additionally, they hold a certification in MSc Crop Protection from Harper Adams University.
