Dimitrios Poulopoulos

Dimitrios Poulopoulos has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and positions. Dimitrios currently serves as the Engineering Lead at UBITECH. Prior to that, Dimitrios founded and created Skakibot, a role they held from 2021 to 2022. Dimitrios also worked at SanMar as a Senior Software Engineer & Team Mentor from 2019 to 2021. Dimitrios spent a significant portion of their career at Microsoft, where they served as a Software Engineer from 2008 to 2019. Dimitrios also held the role of Intern at Microsoft in 2007. In addition, Dimitrios worked as a Researcher at MIT AUTO-ID Labs from 2007 to 2008, and as a Teacher Assistant at MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) from 2007 to 2008. Dimitrios began their career as a Software Developer at MIT Media Lab in 2006. Dimitrios also gained practical experience as an intern at SIDMA STEEL S.A. in 2004.

Dimitrios Poulopoulos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dimitrios further pursued higher education in Computer Science and obtained a Master's degree from the same institution, completing their MEng in 2008.
