Zachary Wikerd, M.D., serves as the Associate Program Director for the Clinical Competency Committee and is an Assistant Professor at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, with additional roles as Core Faculty in the Internal Medicine Residency and Associate Program Director for the Geriatric Fellowship, all since August 2020. Concurrently, Zachary Wikerd practices as a Geriatric Hospitalist at UBMD Internal Medicine. Prior experience includes completion of a Geriatric Fellowship at Mount Sinai Health System from July 2019 to June 2020 and an Internal Medicine Residency at The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, Ohio, from July 2016 to June 2019. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Waterloo.
