Alexey Malashonak

Alexey Malashonak, FRM, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Development Lead, Director at UBS since February 2017, where expertise is applied in coordinating the strategic development and delivery of reports on market, credit, and firmwide risks. Prior to UBS, Alexey worked as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at VostokFinance Group, enhancing financial and operational performance, and as VP, Head of Research and Development at Compono Strategia, focusing on Counterparty Credit Risk and Market Risk management systems. Previous roles also include quantitative analyst positions at SGCM Partners Ltd. and Raiffeisen Bank Aval PJSC, alongside internships at Citi and The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus. Alexey holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance and Economics from the Kyiv School of Economics/University of Houston and a BA in Finance and Credit from Belarusian State University.
