Almat Zhantikin

Almat Zhantikin is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Executive Director in Group M&A at UBS since October 2020, after holding the position of Director in the same division. Prior to UBS, Almat worked as a Private Equity Investment Manager at AnaCap Financial Partners from November 2018 to April 2020. Career beginnings included roles at Barclays Investment Bank, where Almat progressed from Analyst to Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group, engaging in M&A advisory work. Additional experience includes positions at HSBC Global Banking and Markets and Citi, focusing on FIG M&A advisory and capital markets origination, respectively. Almat holds an MMath in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Oxford and completed A-levels at Cambridge Tutors College.
