Bill Appicelli

Bill Appicelli, CFA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in equity research and analysis, particularly in the energy sector. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of North America Power & Utilities Research at UBS since July 2022, Bill previously held several influential roles, including Director at UBS and Analyst positions at ExodusPoint Capital Management, Citadel Global Equities, and Balyasny Asset Management. Bill began his career with experience in investment analysis at Nexus Capital Group and ISI Group, and the early years included positions at Morgan Stanley and Citi Investment Research, building a foundational expertise in institutional sales and equity research. Bill holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Drew University.
