Emily McDonald

Emily McDonald is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in sustainable finance and fixed income. Currently serving as the Director - Sustainable Investment Specialist at UBS since February 2023, Emily focuses on aligning innovative product design with EU Climate Benchmark Regulation. Prior to this role, Emily was an Investment Director at Aviva Investors, where responsibilities included steering ESG integration and leading fund repositioning for SFDR Article 8 classification. A career break from 2017 to 2018 involved active engagement in business projects yielding significant returns. Emily's prior positions include Senior Vice President at Credit Suisse, where revenue growth was dramatically achieved, and Vice President at Lloyds Banking Group, where a new business line in Credit products was successfully initiated. Early career milestones at Conduit Capital Markets and HBOS Treasury Services showcased strong sales acumen and resilience during market crises. Emily holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Leeds.
