Richard Kao

Richard Kao is a Managing Director at UBS, currently heading the Consumer & Retail division for the APAC region and Global Banking. Previously, Richard served as Managing Director at Credit Suisse, where they led the APAC Retail & Consumer Investment Banking and Capital Markets team. Richard also held the position of Managing Director at Standard Chartered Bank, overseeing Equity Corporate Finance for Northeast Asia. Their career includes roles as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs and a Summer Associate at Credit Suisse First Boston. Richard holds an MBA in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Summa Cum Laude, from Colgate University.
