Ricky Leung

Ricky Leung is an experienced legal professional specializing in data privacy, technology law, and legal counsel across the Asia Pacific region. Currently serving as the Head of Data Legal APAC at UBS since September 2023, Ricky leads a team focused on data privacy, banking secrecy, and client confidentiality, as well as addressing AI and cybersecurity legal issues. Previously, at Credit Suisse from March 2021 to August 2023, Ricky held multiple roles including Head of Legal Tech & Data Protection APAC and Head of Legal Data Protection APAC, providing comprehensive legal guidance on data protection and technology matters. With prior experience at Societe Generale, SAP, Outblaze, Hogan Lovells, and Bird & Bird, Ricky has developed expertise in legal issues surrounding digital projects, sourcing contracts, and intellectual property. Ricky holds a Master of Laws from The London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a Bachelor of Laws and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from The University of Hong Kong.
