Romain Barnezet

Romain Barnezet is an experienced financial professional with a robust background in market risk and analytics. Currently serving as an Executive Director at UBS since August 2006, Romain has held the roles of Director and Market Risk Officer. Prior experience includes a consultancy position at Liquid Engines Inc. and academic roles at the University of Lausanne and the Swiss National Science Foundation. Romain began a career as a Junior Energy Analyst at Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft Laufenburg AG. Academically, Romain holds multiple degrees from HEC Lausanne, including a Master of Science in Banking and Finance, a Licentiate’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, and a Licentiate’s Degree in Actuarial Science, as well as a FAME Certificate of Advanced Studies in Finance from the University of Lausanne.
