Saj Sekhon

Saj Sekhon has over 20 years of extensive experience in technology leadership across the finance sector. Currently serving as CTO for Group Functions Technology at UBS from September 2020 to December 2023, Saj is responsible for regional technology leadership in areas such as Finance, Risk, Treasury, Compliance, HR, Legal, and Corporate Services. Previously, Saj held various significant roles at Barclays from December 2010 to September 2020, including Global Head of Operational Risk and Controls Technology. Prior to Barclays, Saj worked at Accenture as Architecture Lead for JPMorgan and held technical architect positions for Royal Sun & Alliance and VISA Europe, alongside early career experience at Tata Consultancy Services. Saj holds a PGDCA in Computer Science from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab Technical University.
