Taichi Takahashi

Taichi Takahashi is the current head of APAC for investment banking at UBS.

Taichi has been with UBS since 1994, beginning their career in equities trading in Japan. Taichi was promoted to head of equities trading in Japan in 2003 and then to head of equities for all of Asia Pacific in 2006. In 2012 they were promoted again, this time to co-head of equities trading for Asia Pacific. In October 2019 they assumed their current role as head of APAC for investment banking.

Throughout their long career at UBS, Taichi has been a driving force in the bank's success in the Asia Pacific region. Their deep knowledge of the regional markets and their dedication to their clients have made him a respected leader within the bank and in the industry more broadly.
