Tao Wang

Tao Wang is currently the Head of China Economic Research at UBS Investment Bank, a position held since 2008. With a distinguished career that includes serving as Managing Director at UBS from 2008 to 2010, Wang also spent nearly a decade at the International Monetary Fund, holding roles as an Economist and Senior Economist from 1997 to 2006. Prior to these roles, Wang led Asia Economics at BP from 2006 to 2007. Educated at New York University, Wang earned a PhD between 1988 and 1994 after completing a BA in International Economics at Renmin University of China from 1984 to 1988.
