Huan Tan

Huan Tan is currently the Co-Chief Technology Officer at UBTECH Robotics. Prior to this, they were with the company for 3 years and 10 months, holding various positions such as Co-Chief Technology Officer, Vice President, and Head and President of the Research Center. Huan also spent 5 years and 3 months as a Scientist at GE Global Research, where they were a founding member and key technical leader of GE Robotics Breakout. Huan then spent 1 year and 11 months as a Research Engineer at Tsinghua University, followed by 2 years and 10 months as a Graduate Research Assistant at Nankai University. Their first industry experience was as a Graduate Student Intern at NKTY High Tech Development Ltd., where they worked for 9 months.

Huan Tan has a PhD from Vanderbilt University in Electrical Engineering with a concentration on Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Control Systems. Huan also has a Master of Engineering from Nankai University in Computer Technology with a concentration on Robotics, Embedded System, and Control System. Finally, they have a Bachelor of Engineering from Tianjin University in Automation.
