Adam Sterling

Adam Sterling serves as the Assistant Dean for Executive Education at Berkeley Law and co-founded Startup@BerkeleyLaw, which focuses on providing legal training and support for early-stage companies. As Executive Director of the Berkeley Center for Law and Business, Adam oversees programming that explores the intersections of law, business, and economics, emphasizing areas such as venture capital and corporate social responsibility. Additionally, Adam contributes to several organizations as a board member or advisory board member, including The Atticus Project, EIRIS Conflict Risk Network, and Employ America. Adam's legal expertise includes experience as a startup attorney at Gunderson Dettmer and leadership at the Genocide Intervention Network. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the Haas School of Business and a JD from Berkeley Law, along with a BA in Afro-American Studies and Political Science from UCLA.
