Curt Theisen

Curt Theisen has extensive experience in business development and licensing, currently serving as Associate Director at the University of California, Berkeley since 2003, where responsibilities include managing partnerships that generate over $3 million in annual royalties. Previously, as Director of Business Development at Internet Security Systems from 2001 to 2003, Curt successfully generated over $21 million in new business revenue, consistently exceeding targets. In the role of Director of Business Development at Network ICE from 1999 to 2001, more than $10 million in revenue was achieved through various sales channels. Earlier experience includes serving as Lead Business Development Manager at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from 1994 to 1999, where Curt led efforts that secured over 75 partnerships worth more than $86 million. Curt holds an MBA/MS in Business and Engineering Management and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, both from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
