Peter Gorman

Peter Gorman currently serves as the Director of Strategic Projects Finance, Director of Housing Development, and Housing Development Project Manager at the University of California, Berkeley since October 2019. Prior experience includes roles as an Independent Contractor and Senior Analyst at HR&A Advisors from May 2017 to September 2019, along with a position as a Community Revitalization Fellow at the Development Finance Initiative at UNC School of Government from May 2016 to May 2017. Earlier, Peter was a Regional Planning Intern at the Kerr-Tar Council of Governments and worked as an Outreach and Development Associate at the Coalition for Smarter Growth. Initial work experience also includes a Geography Intern role at the National Geographic Society and serving as Executive Editor for the Penn State Journal of International Affairs. Peter holds a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Geography and Political Science from Penn State University.
