Scottie Spurzem

Scottie Spurzem is an experienced English language coach and educator, currently serving as the Head Coach at English Language Coach since October 2014. Specialized in assisting professionals with English as a Second Language (ESL), Spurzem focuses on customized lesson planning that includes accent management, vocabulary enhancement, presentation skills, and grammar mastery. In addition, Spurzem holds the role of Industry Fellow at UC Berkeley Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology and acts as a Mentor with the Visionaria Network. Prior teaching experience includes positions at ELS Language Centers and EC English Language Centres. Before transitioning to education, Spurzem had a successful career in investor relations, serving as President of Spurzem Consulting Group and Vice President at The Financial Relations Board. Education qualifications include a CELTA certification and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
